A Ringwood, Victoria mortgagee home has been sold for $772,000, $43,000 less than what is last traded for.

The property last sold for $815,000 in 2017.

Micheal Hill and Brett Freeman of Noel Jones marketed the property at 142 Watirna Road.

The three bedroom, two bathroom house sold during an auction in late January.

Built in 1988, the home sits on a 688 sqm block.

Situated within walking distance of Ringwood Station, local buses, open green spaces and Ringwood Golf Club, its also near schools and shopping centres.

The median price for a house in Ringwood is $800,000, according to CoreLogic data.
