A clearance rate of 70 percent was recorded this weekend compared to 74 percent last weekend and 77 percent this weekend last year.

There were 335 auctions reported to the REIV, with 233 selling and 102 being passed in, 44 of those on a vendor bid. This weekend has the highest number of auctions scheduled for Labour Day weekend since 2008 (more than 400 auctions).
