A three bedroom house in Peterborough, a town in the mid north of South Australia, has been sold for $53,000.

It was sold by Jeff & Gerda Oakle from Landmark Harcourts SA.

Located at 200 Railway Terrace, the house features three bedrooms, lounge room, open plan kitchen/dining room and laundry area.

Other features include a single car port, paved rear entertaining area, garden shed and wood shed.

Set on 835 sqm the home last sold for $35,000 in 2007.

The suburb's median house price sits at $735,000, according to CoreLogic.
