There was just the one bid for 14 St Georges Court Toorak, which sold last weekend for $5.5 million plus. 

The 14 St Georges Court, Toorak was offered through Kay & Burton at $4.6 million plus.

Auctioneer Gerald Delany had a hand in the sale for the fourth time over the past three decades.

The auction opened with a $4.8 million vendor bid for the four-bedroom home with wall of Manchurian pears.

The European villa attracted a sole $4.85 million bid which saw it passed in.

It last sold in 2002 at $2,615,000. Before that at $2.1 million in 2001, then $1,245,000 in 1991 and $236,000 in 1980.
