Multiplex tops out Paddington aged care project

Multiplex has topped out its $180 million Paddington over 55s development The Terraces, located at the Scottish Hospital site on Brown Street, Sydney.

The Terraces is owned and operated Presbyterian Aged Care (PAC) in NSW. Construction topped out at level eight.

The Terraces at Paddington, designed by JPR Architects, will feature a 100 bed facility including a 23-bed dementia unit. The new retirement village includes 70 new seniors’ independent living units across four new buildings.

The Scottish Hospital heritage building will house nine seniors apartments.

As part of the project, Presbyterian Aged Care are dedicating 1,300 square metres of land to the community for an expansion of the Dillon Street reserve park at the north of the site.

Completion of the entire project is expected by early 2019.
