It was passed in at auction on a vendor bid of $1.9 million for the 1882 Kent Street home.
The middle terrace in the revived three Carlson Terrace row was built in the Italian villa style of architecture.
The 99 sqm offering is located at the door of Observatory Hill and offers harbour views over Darling Harbour and Barangaroo from its rooftop terrace.
