Liverpool site with approval for apartments changes hands

A mixed-use development site in NSW's Liverpool with approval for 162 units has recently sold through CBRE for an undisclosed sum.

The site at 387-397 Macquarie Street, Liverpool, NSW 2170 went to the market via an expressions of interest. The zoning is B4 mixed use.

The property last changed hands back in 1989 for $1.3 million, according to RP Data.

Upgrades to the property are a set of commercial strata suites, currently occupied by retail providers cash converters, radio rentals, and motorcycle accessories supermarket -all leases due to expire by quarter 1, 2017.

The property has a land area of 2,391 sqm.

Liverpool is projected to gain more infrastructure than any other city in Australia in the next 10 years.

CBRE's Frank Oliveri and Thomas Mosca brokered the deal.
