More than $4.5 million is tipped for the Kew property of the Winneke family.

It was the home of the late Sir Henry Winneke who was Governor of Victoria between 1974-1982.

Expressions of interest close October 19 through Jellis Craig Hawthorn agent William Chen.

The restored 389 Barkers Road is one of three homes in Kew designed by John Beswicke.

Set on a 1297 sqm block, the house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The median house price in Kew is $1,938,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
