There are $5 million expectations for a trophy apartment in The Hyde apartment on Liverpool Street, Sydney.

The three bedroom, two bathroom 24th floor apartment last sold in 2010 at $2,345,000. There are two car spaces.

The north facing space became a $1800 a week rental offering in 2015.

It is offered by Tolga Ozer at Boutique Property Agents.

The Stockland complex, which is pet friendly, was designed by architects WOHA.

The site was purchased in 1988 by Stockland when the development company owned by Ervin Graf.

The now ASX listed company has  a range of masterplanned greenfield communities and medium density housing projects across the country with an end-market value of some $19.8 billion.

It next inner Sydney project is at 6,168sq m site located at 5-15 Dunning Avenue in Rosebery, a site secured in 2017.

Last year Stockland bought a site in inner Melbourne's Brunswick for its first apartment project in Victoria in more than 10 years.
