An Elanora four bedroom house has been sold by mortgagees for $290,000.

It was marketed as "perfect for the builder, developer or owner occupier".

It was sold by Neil Trewin and Dean Trewin from Frist National Real Estate.

The house is partly finished on a 938 square metre block of land.

Located at 36 Boab Street, the house is close to shops and schools, five minutes to the Gold Coast's beaches and 10 minutes to Coolangatta Airport.

According to CoreLogic, the suburb's median house price sits on $655,000.
