The initial pricing ranged from $695,000 to $2.75 million, not including the penthouses.
Some eight apartments of 52 remain unsold in the 8 South Esplanade development, situated just south of the Stamford Grand hotel.
The suburbs median unit price is $425,500.

Buyers include Channel 7 sports commentator Bruce McAvaney and his wife Anne Johnson who recently sold their Glenelg South four-bedroom home on South Esplanade which was listed with a price range between $2.45 million and $2.695 million.
