Five homes with terrific tennis courts for sale
The Australian Open finished last night... so Property Observer went looking for some homes that come with fabulous tennis courts.
Despite Melbourne being the Australian Open home, it is Queensland who are topping the charts in our list.
1. Culcowy, 47 Beckmans Road, Noosaville, Queensland (above)
The contemporary retreat Culcowy is privately positioned deep in a tropical setting
The five bedroom house is available through Dan Neylan and Imika Neyland of Downling and Neyland for $2.59 million.
The tennis court area can be viewed from the pool room and comes with a stand alone basketball hoop.
2. Bayview, Pittwater, New South Wales (above)
This one is perhaps the most impressive property on our list - and comes from Pittwater.
The luxury estate comes with everything you can possible think of. A pool, spa, gym, games room, dine-in wine cellar and of course a championship size tennis court.
Anthony Walls of Max Walls International is the listing agent of the property posting a short video of the trophy home.
3. 9 Hillside Road, Springfield, SA
New upcoming tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis, who grew up in South Australian would be envious of this back yard tennis court set on the 2209 sqm site.
Opting to go with a swimming pool indoors and the tennis court outside, the five bedroom property also features a pool table with an accompanying bar and a 10 car underground garage.
Joe Oppedisano of Adcorp Property Group is seeking expressions of interest, but will be wanting to shift the property which has been on the market for over 200 days.
4. Homewood Bound, Warrandyte, Victoria
There had to be one property from Victoria in the list didn't there?
Homewood Bound's grass court is located at the rear of the house with a great vantage point from the second floor balcony.
With five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a loft-style studio and an inground, salt-water pool, Megadu listing agent Kevin Du should have no problem selling this one.
5. 158 Onkaprainga Valley Road, Verdun, South Australia
Another South Australia property rounds off the list.
Available through Tim Thredgold and Megan Thredgold of Toop and Toop, the massive seven bedroom property features a swimming pool beside a floodlit super grass tennis court.
Aptly named Forest Lodge, the estate has 4.9 hectares of land with four stables, 20x60 metre Olympic arena and a 10x10 metre undercover yard.
