A five bedroom Curtin house has been sold for $1.22 million making it Canberra’s most expensive auction sale last weekend.

Located at 42 Robertson Street, the 731 square metre property takes advantage of the north-east orientation at rear of the property.

The block of land was last sold in 1997 for $136,000.

The house was built in 2012 and features a formal lounge at the front of the house along with a simple landscape surrounding the property.

Modern kitchen features large island bench with stone bench-tops, walk-in pantry and quality appliances while it overlooks the informal living area.

It also has a Blanco 5 burner gas cook top and electric oven including a Bosch dishwasher.

Five bedrooms are available while the master with ensuite and walk-in robe as well as having views to Black Mountain Tower from master and second living area.
