Marketing entrepreneur Fergus Watts has bought a charming weatherboard homestead in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula.

He paid $2.15 million for the six hectare estate.

The bespoke period home was relocated from Geelong then extended with wrap around verandahs overlooking its rose garden and orchard.

The selling agents were Bowman & Company agents Robert Bowman and Alex Campbell.

Watts, who play with the AFL sides, Adelaide Crows and St Kilda, returned to Australia after opening a new London office wanting a sea and tree change.

He says he has no daily requirement to go to the Bastion Collective office, his international management and marketing business.
