Construction has started at the luxury residential development Beach Life Alex on the Sunshine Coast's Alexandra Headland.

The project, from Cube Developments, is already 60 percent sold, with $39 million worth of sales so far in the 58 apartment development.

The $65 million complex, which comprises two and three bedrooms apartments including a number of 200 sqm sky homes, fronts the Alexandra Parade dress circle.

Scott Juniper of Cube Developments said reconfiguring the number and design of apartments to create more space including the addition of stunning sky-homes had added to the project’s appeal.

“The sense of luxury, space and incredible beach side location between the iconic Maroochydore and Alexandra Headland surf clubs is driving huge market interest,’’ Mr Juniper said.

The development is expected to be completed by December 2019. Prices range from $580,000 to $2.7 million.

Residents will enjoy the unique advantage of dual frontages incorporating both beautiful beaches and family parklands on the doorstep.

The beachside pocket of Alex and Maroochydore is regarded as one of South East Queensland’s most exciting property hotspots.
