The property sold for $490,000, $9,000 below the $499,000 that was sought.

Manfred Harle of Richardson & Wrench held the listing.

Situtated at 18 Megalong Crescent the 1970 property is a one storey brick veneer house.

Set on 588, sqm it features a one car lockup garage.

Positioned withing walking distance of local school, shops and transport, it was described in the listing as "a great opportunity for first home buyers and investors".

Last sold in 2007, the property transacted for $270,000.

The median price for a home in Campbelltown is $600,000 according to CoreLogic, which calculate its annual change in median price over the past 10 years as 8.8%.
