The Amphitheatre, a plot of land at Blackheath which was marketed as offering "an abundance of pure Australian splendour" has been sold for $900,000.

It comes with its own private cliff line and Blue Mountain escarpment views.

It's been 12 years since this property was on the market.

The 67-acre block of land at 22-40 Mount Blackheath Road was a marketed by Ray White agent Alan Gregory as "pristine bush privacy without sacrificing village accessibility".

Within the Blackheath holding is a natural amphitheatre from which it derives its name and is located within 10 minutes of Blackheath village.

Located on the Shipley Plateau it last sold in 2006 for $500,000.
