Brisbane had the nation's cheapest sale over the week at Beenleigh when a three bedroom, two bathroom townhouse fetched $230,000 at Harcourts auction. 

It was a mortgagee sale of the 116 sq m offering.

It last sold at $112,000 in 2002.

The 1998 townhouse is located within a security complex on Harburg Drive.

It was last advertised for rent in 2012 at $320 a week.
