A residential land parcel on Fraser Island has been listed for mortgagee auction.

Fraser Island, which sits off Australia’s eastern Queensland coast, is the world's largest sand island.

The beachfront allotment, located on the western side of the Kingfisher Bay Resort, was advertised as mortgagee on realestate.com.au.

Adjacent to architecturally-designed beachfront housing, the 1080sqm block offers an ideal opportunity for a residential development.

Its offerings include unrestricted views overlooking the Great Sandy Straits and a unique location.

The median value price for homes on Fraser Island is over $1,000,000 according to CoreLogic.

Ray White Hervey Bay agent Glenn Fallon holds the listing.

The auction will take place on Saturday, October 24.
