Around 10% of Canberra property resales at a loss: CoreLogic

Over the three months to June 2016, 2.9% of Canberra houses and 21.7% of units re-sold at a loss, according to the latest CoreLogic Pain and Gain report. 

The report compares the most recent sale price to the previous sale price in order to determine whether the property sold at a gross profit or gross loss.

The proportion of house resales at a loss increased over the quarter while the proportion of unit resales at a loss fell slightly.
