Former International Olympic Committee Vice-President and Shell CEO Kevan Gosper and wife Judy have sold their sub-penthouse in Melbourne's 'tower of power' Isis building, South Yarra.

It was first listed late August with expectations of around $5.8 million. The Gospers purchased off the plan 11 years ago and a selling due to travel commitments.

The property sold through Jock Langley and Michael Derham of Abercromby's Real Estate without price disclosure.

Wood Marsh Architects designed the block, surrounded by gardens by Rick Eckersley.

The 400-square-metre apartment is one of seven developed on what were the grounds of Kalitha, the trophy home of Melbourne’s theatre operating family, the Carrolls.

The low-rise Isis building owners include former Ford boss Jacques Nasser.
