Canada Bay is located in the inner west of Sydney, Australia. It is a suburb that is situated on the Parramatta River. The area was first settled by Europeans in 1792 and named after Sir George Canada, who was Captain of HMS Sirius.

The bay itself was originally called 'Rocks Point' by the First Fleet sailors because of the large number of rocks at the point where they came ashore. In 1807, Robert Campbell established a whaling station there and it became known as Campbell's Bay.
