Fortis' recently launched&nbsp;<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/the-woollahra-collection-2a-james-street-woollahra">Woollahra Collection</a>&nbsp;marks the biggest site regeneration in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/woollahra-nsw">Woollahra</a>.

Fortis secured the 14 lots, now 2A James Street, for around $50 million, making a 3,500 sqm mega block for the $170 million project, a mix of 25 apartments and terraces.

The <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/the-woollahra-collection-2a-james-street-woollahra">Woollahra Collection</a> presents with three types of housing surrounded by the beauty and amenities of Queen Street; Magnolia Terraces, James St Residences, and Ox House.

Starting with the existing buildings on the site dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, MHN Design Union will be architecturally restoring the old buildings as townhouses, dubbed Magnolia Terraces.

Magnolia Terraces are six two and three-level townhouses with highly functional interior space by local Interior Architect Phoebe Nicol.

The townhouses boast family-sized home proportions, fine detailings, north-facing entertainer’s courtyards and formal landscaping by Wyer &amp; Co. at the front.&nbsp;

Alongside the refurbished buildings, Woollahra Collection will also feature newly built luxury residences, James Street, comprising 18 north-facing two, three and four-bedroom apartments.

Residents can expect a luxuriously curated texture, material, and light palette in James Street. The apartments will feature beautifully detailed, spacious living spaces with elevated ceiling heights and tall, contemporary French-style doors that connect each living area to the landscaped terrace.

The interiors of the James Street residences are being undertaken by Alexander &amp; Co.

Another part of the project is the restoration and conversion of the 1880s theatre by Mim Design into a single trophy residence, Ox House, with an expected end value of around $15 million.&nbsp;

Ox House is a standalone 500 sqm residence set over two levels – with four bedrooms, an underground cellar, and a private swimming pool.

The interiors will take inspiration from the historic grandeur of the original property, complete with its basement, tunnel cellar, and internal landscaped courtyards.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area in Ox House are perfect for indoor entertaining, while the expansive rear courtyard and barbeque area make the ideal setting for stylish outdoor gatherings.

The <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/the-woollahra-collection-2a-james-street-woollahra">Woollahra Collection</a>, just four kilometres from the Sydney CBD, is bordered by Centennial Park to the south and <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/double-bay-nsw">Double Bay</a> to the north.

Construction of The Woollahra Collection is expected to be completed by Q4 2024.
