ERA Newcastle will comprise 281 one, two and three-bedroom apartments that will cater to different buyer groups, from first home buyers and investors from Sydney to local downsizers who want a low maintenance, city-centric lifestyle while also being ideally located just a few kilometres from Newcastle’s famous beaches.

In a major coup for <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/newcastle-west-nsw-2302">Newcastle</a> and its residents, GWH had respected architecture firm FK Australia design the two towers, the first buildings in Newcastle designed by the studio who has produced a string of award-winning developments across Melbourne, including Australia’s tallest residential tower, Australia 108.

FK Australia has designed the building so the living spaces are wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass windows, windows that almost replace walls. They wanted to to maximise views and also let in as much natural light as possible.&nbsp;

Much like GWH’s past developments, there was a conscious effort to offer significant resident amenity. They have over 2,000 sqm of communal space across the two buildings, connected by a podium which will feature a large outdoor pool, gym, fitness studio, and sauna, as well as several barbecue and dining areas.

Inside ONE Apartments, Newcastle's newest apartment development: Urban's display suit tour

Construction is underway on Newcastle's latest residential development, ONE Apartments.&nbsp;

Their inhouse construction team, GWH Build, is handling construction of the two-tower development of just under 200 one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

The demolition of the existing site concluded late last year, paving the way for structural piling and inground work, which commenced early this year.

ONE Apartments, designed by global architects Marchese Partners and local firm CKDS, will feature one of GWH's signature inclusions, two all-weather rooftop entertaining areas overlooking 360-degree views of Newcastle.&nbsp;

Among the additional amenities are an outdoor heated pool, cinema, gymnasium, steam room, and several smaller private communal spaces available for bookings.

GWH officially launched ONE Apartments to the market in mid-June 2022.

The project attracted a strong interest from the outset, particularly among purchasers from other GWH developments. This has resulted in over one-third of Stage One being sold within the first eight weeks on the market.

"Currently, we're over 50 per cent sold in Stage One and all of our one-bedroom apartments are sold out which shows so much confidence in the market at the moment in Newcastle City, especially off-the-plan," said GWH/RE Licensee in Charge - Peter Kunov.

"Our enquiry rate every week seems to grow despite the current market and the confidence in the off-the-plan sales for both downsizers and investors and first home buyers is really strong."
