Developer Kinstone Group has lodged plans for a $380 million mixed-use master-planned community in Rochedale, 15 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD, delivering new housing supply alongside expansive green space, retail, and a boutique hotel and tavern.&nbsp;

Designed by award-winning <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/builders/arkhefield">Arkhefield</a>, ‘Rochedale Terrace’ is situated at the four-hectare corner site at 46 West Street and 400 Miles Platting Road. &nbsp;

It has been envisioned as a ‘new community heart’ for the suburb, linking a large new parkland with existing green space to create a walkable corridor that integrates recreation, retail and residential. &nbsp;

<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/kinstone-group">Kinstone Group</a> General Manager, Tommy Hung, said the proposed master plan will be delivered in three stages over the next decade.&nbsp;

Luxury buyers in Pikos Property Group&#39;s&nbsp;Kangaroo Point apartment development, Skye by Pikos, are doubling up their purchases, amalgamating two adjoining apartments to create super apartments.

Pikos&#39;&nbsp;$200 million Skye apartments has fielded interest from three separate parties to purchase two adjacent, already sizeable, 230 sqm&nbsp;apartments in the luxury development and amalgamate them under one expansive, opulent sky home of almost 450 sqm.

Director of Gap Development Sales, Grant Plummer said it was something they had never anticipated but realised the unique opportunity they had to create something special for buyers.

&ldquo;A common theme for each buyer was that they want the amazing position and view that Skye offers but they don&rsquo;t want to compromise space when moving from the family home.&quot;

Buyers amalgamating apartments in Pikos Group's Kangaroo Point apartment development, Skye by Pikos

Some of the most sought-after developments over the last six months have been in the small Gold Coast enclave of Kirra Beach.

Miles Residences, the residential arm of the KTQ&#39;s Group&#39;s $380&nbsp;million redevelopment of the Kirra Beach Hotel, had the area abuzz with interest late last year.

More recently there was the quick-fire sell out of Spyre Group&#39;s Cala Dei, the&nbsp;redevelopment of the Komune Resort around the corner.

And now the Gold Coast developer Marquee Development Partners are set to put their stamp on the area, with plans approved by the Gold Coast City Council for a new residential tower.

The tower, dubbed SOL Kirra Beach located at&nbsp;133-135 Musgrave Street, will rise 11 levels and have 46 two, three and four bedroom apartments.&nbsp;

Not set to launch to the market until June 26, Marquee have already been inundated with enquiries from their database, some 1,600 prospective buyers over the last few weeks.

A third floor One Macquarie, Teneriffe apartment has been snapped up within a week of its listing at the list price of $3,850,000.

The Brisbane Riverfront apartment was sold by Judy Goodger and Matthew Foote of Place New Farm.

It was a three bedroom apartment with a large riverfront balcony designed by Arkhefield.

Some 22 groups of buyers inspected its first open house.

Brisbane-based developer Pikos Group is planning a $200 million luxury apartment project on a Kangaroo Point site&nbsp;that will feature a floating 1,000 sqm Sky Deck.&nbsp;With a design inspired by the famous Marina Bay Sands development in Singapore, Pikos will deliver a boutique collection of 68 luxury apartments over three towers, topped by a&nbsp;rooftop bar and restaurant to accompany a private residents&rsquo; pool deck overlooking the city skyline.

The 2,330 sqm landmark site located atop the Kangaroo Point cliffs on the corner of River Terrace and Main Street, was acquired by Pikos Group from international hotels group Banyan Tree. The Singapore-based company, which paid $16.8 million for the site in 2014, had planned a major apartment project on the holding. Pikos has amended Banyan Tree&rsquo;s original single-tower design with plans for three boutique towers of up to 13 storeys on the site.

Designed by Brisbane architectural firm Arkhefield, the project will deliver&nbsp;apartments that span the entire east-west width of each tower, providing uninterrupted views of the Botanic Gardens, the Brisbane River, Storey Bridge and the city, as well as views across to the eastern arm of the Brisbane River to New Farm and beyond. Designed by <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/cox-architecture-0" target="_blank">Cox Architecture</a> and <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/arkhefield" target="_blank">Arkhefield</a>, the proposal also includes a public plaza connecting the three buildings and almost 5,000 square metres of retail space which includes tenancies for a childcare centre and 1,500sqm supermarket.

As part of the application, the existing brutalist tower which has often been heralded as one of the city’s ugliest buildings, will receive a drastic renewal of the facade whilst the iconic side-cores are refurbished and maintained.

The residential tower features 77 dwellings across its 10 habitable floors, with a double height showroom fronting the corner of Sandgate Road and Gore Street, as well as a double-storey bistro tenancy. The building is capped off by a rooftop garden, pool and barbecue terrace offering city and river views.
