The fringe of Double Bay is set for a striking new apartment development.

Architecture firm&nbsp;<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/antoniades-architects">Antoniades Architects</a>&nbsp;has worked with a private developer on the eight-level development at 252-254 New South Head Road, on the border of <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/double-bay-nsw">Double Bay</a> and Edgecliff, where they're proposing to demolish a deteriorating apartment building.

There will be 24 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments across the $22 million development that has been designed to optimise the site’s northern orientation for both solar benefits and views of the Sydney Harbour.

Level eight will feature another communal open space with seating, shaded planting areas, and views of Sydney Harbour.
