Golden Age Group has appointed Figurehead as the construction partner for its Box Hill South townhouse development, Wembley Hill.

The first release of the 143 townhouses at the Hay Street development will start construction soon, and are expected to be completed in Q3 2026.

The appointment of Figurehead Construction is the second time Golden Age has partnered with the Melbourne-based firm to deliver a residential community, following the successful completion of the Floret townhome project in Glen Waverley.

"We are excited to partner again with Figurehead Construction for the construction of Wembley Hill, a development that embodies our commitment to creating sustainable, high-quality living spaces," Golden Age Group Development Director, Damien Hehir, said.

"This project is set to redefine modern living in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, supplying families and home buyers an opportunity to invest in a vibrant, connected community."

Golden Age has released the next stage of RotheLowman-designed townhouses. The new collection, Amber, draws inspiration from the liquidambar trees planted throughout the streetscapes, creating vibrant green links that connect different sections of the community masterplan.

Families and couples have been the most active buyers at Wembley Hill, drawn to its prime location amenities, sustainability focus, and design-led, cost-effective living.

Sustainability and design are at the heart of the project, imagined by Cox Architecture and acclaimed landscape architects TCL. The expansive 13,000 sqm of landscaped gardens, tree canopies, and native greenery create a transition into the nearby Gardiner’s Creek Trail.

TCL’s design responds to the adjacent KooyongKoot (Gardiners Creek) corridor, with a planting scheme that supports local biodiversity, flora and fauna. A rich mix of new trees, shrubs, and grasses contributes to the project’s long-term ecological and community value.
